NATE THOMAS - mornings

Nate Thomas is originally from Springfield, Massachusetts, but his career in radio has taken him all over the country. He worked at Kiss 95.7 in Hartford, CT for four years as the night-time on-air personality. He spent a little over a year in California at KDUV-FM, a well-respected Christian Radio station before working with WAY-FM in Nashville, TN.

You can now hear Nate Monday through Fridayday mornings on The Q 99.7 from 7:00 - 9:00. He'll keep you in the loop on what's happening in the community and around the world with news updates twice an hour. Need a traffic update on your way to work? We've got you covered. JASON RUSSELL - meteorologist

Remember this face? For seven years, Jason Russell woke up the Pioneer Valley with his forecasts on ABC-40. After "retireing" from television, three years ago, he felt called to join the Q to become our staff meteorologist.

As a result, the All New Q 997, is now the only FM station in Western Massachusetts to have a local meteorologist on staff!

Born again, in January 1998, Jason is a member of Westfield Evangelical Free Church. He and his wife are active short-term missionaries in China. They travel once a year, work with Orphanages and teach English.

They adopted thier youngest of three children from China in 2004 and have started a ministry to help Orphans and work with Foster Kids in Western Mass. They live in Westfield.

THERESA ROSS - early afternoons

Theresa Ross is the newest member of The Q 99.7 Team!

1. How about your family?
I'm a single mom with two beautiful kids Johanna's 12 and Jordan's 11 (btw, that's one girl and one boy!) They're growing up way too fast and both will be in middle school this fall WOA!

2. Any pets?
Jack Russell Terrier named JOJO, Min Pin named BAXTER and a Siamese mix named HERSHEY (big chocolate fans!)

3. Favorite foods?
chocolate!! (isn't that a food group?), chips and salsa (fresh salsa with cilantro), mexican food YUM, cookout food...anything my fiancee cooks...i love to eat... AND THEN THERE'S THE GYM (lol)

4. Favorite bible verse?
I have two... Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
and Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

5. What artist makes you turn it up?
TOBYMAC...who else... :)

BRAD ENGLAND - late afternoons

Brad England is a veteran of Christian radio. You can hear Brad Monday through Friday afternoons from 4:00 to 6:00. In addition to doing the afternoon show at The Q 99.7, he also works as a freelance radio producer. His commercials and radio features have played around the world...literally. Chances are you may have heard something he's done even though his voice isn't actually on it!

KYLE PALAZZI - weekends

Hi! My name is Kyle,and I was born and raised in Springfield. I lived in Tampa,FL for 2 years where I attended (and graduated,obviously) radio school in 2006. I interned at Rock 102 in Springfield in 2007, and worked for them for a little while, and started volunteering for The Q in December of 2008.

My wife, Lindsay, and I have been married for 3 years, and we have a 2 year old son named Noah. I'm a huge sports fan (Yankees, Giants and Rangers.
