Become a Volunteer for The Q 99.7!
Please be prepared to enter into this commitment with a spirit of giving… serve so that others may receive. We ask that you do your very best to give your utmost to the glory of God, be curious and professional displaying a loving Christian attitude.
Because of volunteers like you The Q 99.7 is truly blessed. We are ever grateful of people who take time to give of their time with us here at the station. We pray that this time may be a blessing in return.
We currently offer six areas of Volunteer Work. Please let us know which one interests you!
If you don't see your area of interest, please let us know what you would like to offer as a volunteer for The Q 99.7.
- Street Team/Promotions: Help us plan, execute, and set-up for area events and concerts.
- Office: For the highly organized individual! Help with various needs around the office.
- Underground Café: There are 3 areas of volunteers: Coffee bar, security, hospitality.
- Pledge Drive: In the Spring and Fall we hold our on-air fundraisers which we call “Pledge Drive”. It takes a lot of people coming together to pull this event off.
Here are a few things you could do to help us during our Pledge Drives.
· Answer phones. You'll take calls from listeners wanting to donate to The Q 99.7.
· Prepare/Purchase a meal for our staff and volunteers.
· Prepare mailings that will go out to our donors.
- Radio Production: Must have experience. You should be familiar with audio editing software such as Adobe Audition and/or Cool Edit Pro.
- On-Air Personality: Must have experience.
